Description of the works

Execution, maintenance, operation and management of 9.3 km of road infrastructure. The corridor runs from the General Bonilla Roundabout in Concepción to the Penco Interchange, forming a key connection between Concepción, Penco, and surrounding residential and industrial areas.

Areas of Action

  • Comprehensive development and modernisation of the corridor, incorporating dedicated public transport lanes, segregated carriageways for private vehicles, cycle lanes, pedestrian walkways, bus stops, and new supporting infrastructure such as the Operations Control Centre and Emergency Response Area, which will provide 24/7 service to users.
  • Significant urban integration works, including the remodelling of interchanges, construction of grade-separated crossings, lighting works, landscaping, drainage systems, and road safety elements.
