Key Facts

The operational corridor has a total length of 39 km, of which 7.5 km is dual carriageway, and the remainder a conventional single carriageway. The infrastructure required an investment of €67 million and is operated under a 20-year concession (2006–2026), through a shadow toll system subject to strict performance standards.

The weighted Average Daily Traffic stands at 8,300 vehicles. Modernisation works included the construction of two new bypasses: the Metapa Bypass (6 km) and the Ciudad Hidalgo Bypass (5.15 km).
