Los Andes Inland Port is the main logistics hub for the inspection, logistics and commercial activities associated with international overland freight traffic through the Los Libertadores Pass.

Description

Los Andes Inland Port is a logistics centre with an on-site customs facility, designed to provide public and private services for transport, storage and control of goods entering and leaving Chile.

It is the main service centre for road freight in the Southern Cone, with 80% of Chile’s overland trade passing through its customs facilities.

The 24.7-hectare facility is located in La Quinta region, in the north of the country, 6 km from the city of Los Andes and 60 km from Santiago.

The investment amounted to €26 million and the concession term is 20 years.
